EFA_z21

An interactive video-installation based on motion tracking created for the 21st European Customs Law Conference in Linz 2009. To visualize the world of trade and customs, relevant images were projected on a large video screen in the conference room . The pictures were overlaid with a text string containing terms from documents produced for the 21st European Customs Law Conference. Each time when a specially installed surveillance camera detected the movement of people during the meeting, the text string changed to a different term. That way, every participant in the conference became an active part of the installation. The more people moved, the faster the text changed and new terms appeared on the screen.
